A new multi-level home designed for a steeply sloping site in the Victorian coastal town of Wye River. The site features several exceptional large native trees, vistas over the township below & views of Bass Strait & the coastline. The ever-present risk of bushfire drove the decision for exterior claddings of weathered steel & fiber cement sheet & the desire to maintain existing large trees determined the siting & arrangement of the home.
